In the spirit of 1920s and 1930s refinement, Budapest's newest all-suite boutique hotel - the Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge Budapest - has officially opened, located next to the iconic Chain Bridge.
An atmospheric opening ceremony
The friendly evening was hosted by Gábriel Farkas, who not only hosted and sang, but also recalled the main message of the hotel opening:
"Today is not only the opening of a new hotel, but also the beginning of a new era - a new place on the map of Budapest's hotel industry, which is also a bridge between the past and the present."
During the ceremony, the hotel's official slogan was also unveiled:
"The place where the world meets Budapest - bohemian elegance in a modern dress."
This motto perfectly describes the hotel's mission: to bring the spirit of joy and joie de vivre into the present and to combine the historical essence of Budapest with international comfort and modern design.
Key personalities of the evening
The official opening speech was delivered by István Nagy-Szász, Regional Director of CPI Hotels Hungary Kft., followed by Zoltán Somlyai, Chairman of the Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (MSZÉSZ).
Zoltán Varró, the iconic architect responsible for the hotel's interior design, also took the stage. All speakers agreed on the unique nature of the project and its importance to the Budapest hotel scene.
Symbolic Handover of the Keys
One of the highlights of the evening was the ceremonial act of handing over the keys.
Péter Papp, Production Director of EBH Invest, symbolically handed over the key to Gergő Franciscy, former Director of the Starlight Hotel, who then handed it over to Diáně Ambrus, the new Director of the Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge Budapest.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony followed, symbolizing the beginning of the next stage of CPI Hotels.
A tour of the hotel full of surprises
After the official part, guests were invited to take a tour of the hotel, during which a number of surprises awaited them.Stylized performances awaited them in the various suites - for example, meeting the "Flower Lady" in the relaxation box or the "Golden Statue", which came to life in the Penthouse Chain Bridge suite.
Evening Program and Celebration
The evening continued with an exclusive buffet accompanied by music and dance performances. The atmosphere was topped off with the arrival of a birthday cake and a festive drawing for a special surprise donated by the CPI Hotels Hungary team.
