CPI Hotels adds two Marriott Hotels to portfolio

26 April 2021, Budapest – Leading hotel group CPI Hotels has added two Marriott Hotels to its portfolio. One is located in Budapest, Hungary, while the other is in Prague, Czech Republic. While both hotels will retain the Marriott brand, complete with all the loyalty programs and benefits, they will be managed by CPI Hotels.
CPI Hotels took over the management of Courtyard by Marriott Budapest City Center on 1 April. The four-star hotel, with 234 rooms, is located in Budapest city center, flanking the Blaha Lujza square, only a short distance from the city’s Rudas thermal spa, Gellért Hill, Buda Castle and Elisabeth Bridge.
CPI Hotels successfully operates two other hotels in the Hungarian capital, namely Mamaison Hotel Andrássy and Mamaison Residence Izabella. Two more will open soon: four-star Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge Budapest (formerly Starlight Suiten Hotel) and a new 99-room hotel offering three-star accommodation and services.
“We are proud to welcome Marriott as another internationally renowned brand in our portfolio. We have every confidence in our ability to leverage our extensive experience in operating big and prominent hotels. We can’t wait to demonstrate our skills to our guests once the situation allows for it,” says Jan Kratina, CEO of CPI Hotels. The change of ownership will not mean any lessening in the scope or the quality of the services offered by the hotel.
In addition to the Marriott-branded hotel in Budapest, CPI Hotels has expanded its portfolio with the addition of Courtyard by Marriott Prague City, a hotel located near Atrium Flora shopping center in the Czech capital. The four-star hotel offers 161 rooms. This new addition complements a selection of eight other hotels in Prague, mostly operating under the Clarion and Mamaison brands.
