The Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague, which is part of the portfolio of the largest Czech hotel group CPI Hotels, organised a party for business partners with a charity overlap. The event with the subtitle “Come and play with us” was targeted not only at introduction of the hotel space to potential clients, but mainly to help a good cause.
The second year of the charity bazar sale, which was again highly appreciated by the guests, took place in the “Riverside Suite”, which is the hotel’s best suite with a unique view of the Vltava and Prague Castle. Here, the visitors could supplement their winter wardrobes with clothes and accessories at symbolic prices; the items were endowed by the business partners and employees of CPI Hotels. Thanks to the purchases made by the guests, about CZK 8 thousand was collected, which was topped up to amount of CZK 15 thousand with a contribution from Hotel Riverside to the benefit of the Chance 4 Children Foundation Fund. A symbolic cheque was received from hotel manager Tibor Bielik by Chance 4 Children co-founder, Rafael Wojas. The proceeds shall be used to support the Dr. Clown Project, which since 1999 has actively helped hospitalised children to overcome trauma from long-term hospitalisation.
The guests were thematically transported back to childhood also during the subsequent part of the programme, which was in the spirit of creativity using Lego sets and the best creative work competition. A fulfilled childhood dream for many was the personal encounter with Marilyn Monroe from the Grévin Prague Wax Figure Museum. The guests also got a taste of delicacies from the local cuisine of the Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague. The peak of the social evening was the draw of the raffle for stays in CPI Hotels and tickets to the Grévin Wax Figure Museum.
The Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague collaborates long-term with the Chance 4 Children Foundation Fund. Apart from the charity second-hand sale, it is also involved, for instance, in the sale of Tour 4 Charity tours. This “edu-help” fund-raising project offers entertaining informative tours of the capital city to foreign tourists with the proceeds dedicated 100 percent to the educational and re-socialisation projects of the foundation.
